Al peperoncino ristorante italiano

Peperincino was recommended to us by hotel staff at Hotel Pulitzer as being know locally for its amazing pizza. Both myself and my daughter visited during our stay there in October and I can honestly say the pizza is out of this world. We had Our waiter was really great and when i do go back to Rome not only will i be staying locally again ay hotel Pulitzer I will definitely be eating at Peperoncino again More. The pizzas in this restaurant are fantastic, absolutely massive and plenty of toppings!

The house wine is also really nice, and cheap. They stay open later than most restaurants in the area so is helpful for people who are late for tea. I would avoid The ham was supposed to be Parma Ham but it was actually luncheon meat. However a pleasant meal all in all. Not a tourist in sight and the place soon filled up with locals. Superb food, plenty of choice on the menu and a selection of good Italian The pizza was the best I have ever eaten. Great service and the waiters were so helpful even though our Italian was poor. We had such a good meal that we returned on the last night of our holiday and were even more impressed with the food and service. Very familiar and cozy place to eat; the staff is great and the food is so good and yummy. The calzones are huge and the regular pizzas really really good. I definitely loved this place. A serious restaurant on the third day here at last. Nicely cooked chicken and pizza,focaccia and vegetable mix.

Even at the view of a sole tourist,leave We ended up at this restaurant almost by accident one evening - our metro train broke down whilst on our way into the city centre for dinner, and so we decided to get out at this stop as we'd read about this little restaurant here Our phone map failed to take us the right way several times, and so we got lost around the neighbourhood, which should be noted is not the most welcoming of areas - it was the only time whilst in Rome I felt a little unsafe. Upon arriving at the restaurant, despite it being ridiculously busy, we were ushered straight to a table, and did not have to wait long for our food.

My partner and I both had pizza, and both were beyond delicious - huge and absolutely loaded with toppings. If you want to escape the tourist-heavy spots, then this is a great shout - it's where the locals go on a Saturday night, and it was full with big Italian families and groups of friends which made for a great atmosphere. With brushetta and a couple of beers, our bill was around 30 euros which seemed more than reasonable. I would absolutely recommend going a little off the beaten track and trying this place out - I would certainly go back if I returned to Rome again. You could tell this was an authentic restaurant. We went there with some local friends of ours and it was an awesome recommendation. We shared two appetizers - the fried zucchini flowers I wish I could remember the name. Either way, both were beyond wonderful. They also bring you a digestif at the end which is a delicious strawberry smoothie mixture Can't recommend this place enough!

È la prima volta che veniamo qui e abbiamo mangiato bene, il cameriere è stato gentilissimo, ci ritorneremo.

Ottima pasta con i carciofi, personale cordiale e disponibile, servizio rapido e conto adeguato a quando mangiato. Quando mi trovo a Roma, ritorno volentieri al peperoncino. Locale stile anni 80, pietanze tradizionali genuine. Ottima la pizza, molto digeribile e con ingredientj buoni. Camerieri gentili, prezzo nella norma. Ristorante ampio, dall'arredamento di una tipica trattoria degli anni ottanta, curato e pulito. Il menu offre una vasta scelta, con buone specialità calabresi, una discreta pizza ed i classici piatti della tradizione romana, oltre a secondi di carne e pesce. Il servizio, simpatico ma frettoloso, Prezzi molto alti in rapporto alla qualità ed alla quantità delle pietanze proposte un po' di pane bruschettato con tre salse piccanti al costo di dieci euro è decisamente troppo. Tavolo prenotato per 6 persone in realtà é un tavolo da 4 ci siamo dovuti zippare. Bicchieri della birra portati a tavola ancora bagnati. Arrivano le pizze con i piatti degli antipasti ancora non tolti, in pratica abbiamo sparecchiato noi.
